Protected Russian browser: workplace with messenger and SSO
A regular workplace browser opens everything: an internal portal, personal mail, unmanaged downloads, and a foreign chat in the next tab. For security that is not flexibility. It is a hole in the perimeter. A protected corporate browser has a different job: one window for holding services and for a messenger that lives on your stand.
That is EKP Web: a Russian browser that connects to an EKP Dialog stand. Corporate messenger with SSO opens in the right pane; internal services sit in the center.
How it differs from "another chat tab"
A separate desktop messenger multiplies installs, updates, and accounts. A public web-chat tab does not give download policy or spaces. A corporate browser combines:
- managed spaces (personal and corporate);
- services by Private Web rights (calendar, EDMS, task tracker);
- a connection to the Dialog stand without a second app;
- split view, folders, downloads, incognito, password manager.
The employee does not switch between messenger and portal. They stay in one contour.
Who needs it first
- people with a dense flow of internal links and chat approvals;
- CISOs who need access zones and logs, not a shadow Chrome with extensions;
- CIOs who want SSO: browser login = service login = stand chat login.
Typical buying mistakes
- Shop only for "Russian Chromium". Without IAM and a messenger stand it is still a regular browser with another label.
- Skip spaces in Private Web. Then the left pane is empty and opening Dialog on the right has little value.
- Mix personal and corporate contours. A personal account in EKP Web does not show corporate services. That is by design.
